EDASce makes it easier than ever to switch: Introducing NEW high voltage module

EDASce, the programmable Ethernet Data Acquisition System from Intelligent Instrumentation, Inc., can now directly switch high DC voltage control circuits on and off, as well as monitoring and controlling many other digital and analog signals.
The new high-voltage digital output module for the EDASce can connect directly to circuits up to 400VDC, eliminating the need to build external high-voltage termination panels. It's all built into the module.
This module uses FETs (field effect transistors) to switch the signal. If you're controlling DC signals at high voltages, this module eliminates the reduced life problems associated with commonly used relay switches.

Looking for beta testers for new OPC server for EDASce
Intelligent Instrumentation has developed a new OPC server for the EDASce Ethernet Data Acquisition System. Now it will be easier to communicate and control industrial devices than ever before.
The OPC package is comprised of two parts. The first part is a configuration program that runs on a PC and allows you to select what modules your run-time system will have, and what channels will be used in what modes. You can remotely modify the configuration file on the EDASce with this component.
The second part is the server program that runs on the EDASce, and some utilities. The server reads the configuration file, configures all channels, and makes them available to any OPC clients. From there, it's just OPC.

DASport products discontinued
Intelligent Instrumentation, Inc. (III) is discontinuing the DASport line of portable Data Acquisition Systems.
Discontinuing products is very rare for Intelligent Instrumentation and we take it seriously, since our customers build our products into their own. In this case, there is no other option due to component obsolescence that is beyond our control.
However, the same functionality is available in our USB data acquisition, UDAS family of products, so check them out for your portable data acquisition needs.
