EDAS Series 1000 Data Acquisition Systems

Ethernet Data Acquisition System (EDAS) PACs provide you with real-time, interactive I/O, allowing you to visualize your plant operations, environment, and productivity. Utilize the open systems environment of Ethernet to integrate your acquired data with your company or enterprise network. Factory floor data is made available for use at management level and by other networked resources, PC's, workstations and/or databases. EDAS units communicate over any Ethernet or Internet network using built-in industry-standard TCP/IP protocol, providing a non-proprietary interface to virtually any host, any database, and any automation software package.

Multifunction EDAS I/O System

The Multifunction EDAS I/O system is ideal for measuring temperature, pressure, strain, voltage, current, resistance, chromatography, and spectroscopy applications. The unit features 16 single-ended analog inputs (or 8 differential inputs) at 12-bit or 16-bit resolution, 2 analog outputs, 16 digital I/O channels, and one high-speed 16-bit counter. Digital I/O System

The Digital EDAS I/O system features 32 channels, which can be configured as inputs or outputs. Inputs can be used to perform cycle counting, error or alarm detection, frequency measurement and more. EDAS RS-232-to-Ethernet Interface

Each Serial EDAS provides 2 or 4 RS-232 serial ports. Use this system to allow any RS-232 device, including PLC's, controllers, instruments, scales, gauges, smart sensors, machines, terminals and scanners, to communicate with computers located anywhere on an Ethernet network.

NEMA 12 Digital EDAS

The Industrial EDAS systems are housed in NEMA-12 rated enclosures for use in harsh environments. It provides 16 digital I/O channels, which are individually configurable as inputs or outputs.
