Senior Creative Recruiter —

As a Senior Creative Recruiter at Instrument, you'll navigate seamlessly between supporting Instrument’s leaders and discovering amazing creative talent. This position will provide recruiting support for our Creative discipline, working closely with our VP Creative and Creative Leaders to build out talent strategies, programming and recruiting for key roles across the agency. Reporting to the Director of Recruiting, you’ll own sourcing, interviewing and offers with full time and freelance creative candidates across teams and geographies. What You’ll Do

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process from sourcing to interviews and offers while ensuring a smooth, positive and equitable candidate experience
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand hiring needs and create robust interview plans that identify the talent and skills required for open positions
  • Creatively source top Design and Writing candidates from multiple channels including referrals, research, cold outbound, networking events, and a variety of sourcing tools
  • Participate in industry and recruiting networking events with a special focus on engaging with underrepresented populations and communities
  • Develop talent strategies and events programming to thoughtfully and genuinely engage with creative candidate pools

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, specifically in a high-growth, high-performance environment, working on roles in a competitive market
  • A keen eye for high quality design and copywriting, as it applies to digital experience design
  • Orientation in digital media, from product experience to brand marketing
  • Familiarity with the global, creative talent landscape
  • Capacity to build nuance in your evaluation of how specific creative talents fit into an overall ecosystem
  • Extraordinary emotional intelligence; a natural empathy for fellow humans and an uncanny ability to read people and anticipate their needs, hopes and dreams
  • Exceptional communication skills across all channels (phone, in-person, email, Slack); and the ability to build trust and instant rapport with leaders and candidates alike
  • Insatiable curiosity; a drive to understand not only the why behind every role, but also the long term business needs for the agency as well as for our clients
  • Genuine enthusiasm and dedication for (and ideally experience in) diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives and programs
  • Comfortable moving extremely fast with the ability to navigate ambiguity and critically think through complex problems
  • Open and people-centric approach to work and getting things done with the ability to adapt your communication style and methods as needed
