Senior Strategist, Brand & Content

You are an experienced senior strategist that enjoys leveraging well-informed brand and consumer insights to create compelling, channel-right narratives for brands you are passionate about. From discovering ripe opportunity spaces through competitive audits and identifying the right channel strategy to developing consumer journeys and editorial calendars, you understand how to tell stories across the digital landscape, and the best way to drive an audience to these stories. You are able to quickly understand a brand’s digital ecosystem and can balance being an advocate for the audience you’re trying to reach with the business goals that have been identified. You’re an excellent communicator and influencer that thrives in a fast-paced, highly-collaborative and multi-disciplinary team.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the strategy workstream on 1-2 brand and digital marketing client projects within an integrated, multidisciplinary client team
  • Lead the creation of strategic deliverables across brand experience and content marketing, ranging from audience insights and competitive audits to campaign plans and editorial calendars
  • Partner with the account leadership team to build and deeper trusted relationships with clients
  • Support (and sometimes lead) the research into industry trends, competitive information, along with consumer insights to create and present concepts and recommendations in a compelling and impactful way to internal teams and senior level clients
  • Experience navigating the balance of customer needs, client objectives and the requirements of the team throughout a project
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative research to generate meaningful and intuitive insights that drive creative concepts
  • Be able to work collaboratively with your team, but also operate autonomously and provide value throughout the entire project cycle
  • Partner with the Strategy Director on your team to support and contribute to the broader strategic direction across the team, including creating case studies and sharing internal knowledge, mentoring junior strategists and creating deeper relationships with clients

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of strategy experience which includes leading digital storytelling and brand experience projects for large and small brands across a variety of industries
  • Experience with all phases across the creative process, from discovery and design, into talent briefing and pre-production
  • A broad set of strategic skills and experiences focusing on digital brand, digital content, digital marketing, social media, campaigns with a foundational understanding on digital user experience and interaction design, mobile applications, and digital transformation
  • Experience leading and supporting workshops with mid-senior level clients leveraging design-thinking frameworks
  • Experience in successfully collaborating within large multi-disciplinary teams
