Strategist, User Experience

You are a natural problem-solver with a passion for understanding the complexity of understanding human motivations and behaviors. You are excited about uncovering insights and opportunities everywhere and know how to navigate the push and pull of your team and your clients. You partner with internal and external teams to understand, craft, prototype, measure and improve the best digital experiences in the world.

What You’ll Do

  • Report to Strategy Director
  • Work with an integrated project team from start to finish, knowing when to pivot insights and ideas based on evolving circumstances and new information
  • Be a strong advocate for putting humans at the center of digital experiences that we design for clients
  • Lead and support discovery of the project lifecycle, including workshops, user and stakeholder interviews, analytics and audits of existing inputs, and external trends and benchmarking
  • Use quantitative and qualitative research to produce meaningful insights that will guide creative concepts
  • Establish interaction models, user task flows and user interface specifications
  • Design journey maps, navigation design, sitemaps, information architecture, wireframes and more to support the end-to-end user experience
  • Prepare and present approaches and recommendations in a compelling way to our teams and clients
  • Lead execution of testing, including moderated and unmoderated usability studies and concept testing
  • Define reporting and measurement metrics focused on project and usability goals
  • Work with your team, but also operate autonomously and provide value throughout the entire project cycle

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in user experience and user interaction strategy, including projects for large and small brands, with an emphasis on digital experiences and campaigns
  • Experience with all phases across the design process, from discovery and design, into development and release
  • Ability to contribute meaningfully to the work, from concept to completion, with an understanding of the design, technical and business effects associated with strategic recommendations
  • Experience designing documentation for digital experiences, such as functional requirements, experience maps, wireframes, personas, user flows, and other UX artifacts
  • Experience using analytics and business intelligence tools, as well as user testing tools, to conduct research and determine informed insights to guide concepting
  • Success partnering with and presenting to clients, managing their requests and implementing feedback
  • Experience working and collaborating with creative and technical partners
