Strategist, User Experience & Interaction Design

What You’ll Do

  • Be a strong advocate for putting humans at the center of digital experiences that we design for clients
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to establish and solidify the UX/ID Strategist role within the team, and support the growth of engineering excellence at scale within the company
  • Lead complex product analysis, gap analysis and edge case identification for digital product development projects
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure best practice UX principles are maintained throughout the development process
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and product owners to gather and interpret business requirements and translate them into functional requirements
  • Partner with Research & Testing Team to conduct user-testing and generate meaningful and intuitive insights that will drive the user experience. Define interaction models, user task flows and user interface specifications
  • Design journey maps, navigation design, sitemaps, information architecture, detailed wireframes and more to support the end-to-end user experience
  • Partners closely with visual designers to refine creative, but also be comfortable working within existing design systems to generate high-level design layouts as necessary
  • Prepare and present approaches and recommendations in a compelling and impactful way to internal teams and clients
  • Be able to work collaboratively with the team, but also operate autonomously and provide value throughout the entire project cycle

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in user experience, interaction design and user interaction strategy, including projects for large and small brands, with an emphasis on digital products and experiences. Experience in Digital Product Design or Software Development is a plus.
  • Experience with all phases across the product development process, from discovery and design, into development and release
  • Ability to contribute meaningfully to the work, from concept to completion, with an understanding of the design, technical and business implications associated with user-centered strategic recommendations
  • Experience in designing and defining documentation for digital experiences and products, such as functional requirements, experience maps, wireframes, personas, user flows, and other UX artifacts
  • Experience user testing tools, to conduct research and determine informed insights to drive the refinement of digital products and experiences
  • Proven success partnering with and presenting to clients, managing their requests and implementing feedback
  • Excitement in working across clients, across industries and across different types of digital and innovation projects
  • Experience working with and collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary team including creative and technical partners
