Compensation Philosophy
Great work at Instrument comes from teams of people with different skills working closely with our clients. Our approach to compensation is designed to support that work by providing clear structure and fair, consistent pay across roles and disciplines.
Our pay bands help ensure people doing similar work are compensated equitably. They also create a shared understanding of how growth, performance, and compensation relate to one another.
Transparency matters to us. Everyone at Instrument, and anyone considering joining, should understand how compensation works and how decisions are made. We’ll continue to review and improve this system so it reflects our values and supports the people who do the work.

We believe pay bands should be visible and accessible to everyone who works here. The table below outlines pay bands for the US 3 region, with additional details for each region included below.

Regional Adjustments
Our company has three regional pay bands that it adheres to depending on an employee’s location, internally identified as US 1, US 2, and US 3.
US 3 is our base pay, meaning no employee will make less than what is specified in the US 3 band.
US 2 pay is 7.5% higher than US 3 to meet the market rates.
US 1 pay is 15% higher than US 3 to meet market rates.
