Perfected was already doing the hard work — standing up to corporations, supporting communities harmed by systemic negligence, and turning harm into accountability. But the brand didn’t reflect the heart of that mission. It looked like a firm. Or worse, a faceless tech company. We helped Perfected redefine what justice can look and feel like, building a brand that leads with empathy every step of the way

The Challenge

Mass tort is booming. And broken. Corporate harm is on the rise, from toxic chemicals to defective medical products, and claimants are flooding into a system they barely understand and rarely trust. As multi-district litigation and billion-dollar settlements reshape the legal landscape, everyday people are left to navigate abstract processes with few emotional anchors.

Perfected knew the legal work wasn’t enough. They needed a brand that could earn trust — one that stood shoulder to shoulder with people. The challenge wasn’t just to build a new website or logo, but to rethink how justice shows up, online and off.

Our Approach

From discovery workshops in St. Thomas to content deep dives in LA, we built the foundation for a new kind of legal brand. Every step—strategy, storytelling, design, development—was driven by one principle: speak plainly, show up with care, and never lose the urgency behind the mission.

This was as much a transformation as a design engagement — from legal abstraction to emotional clarity, from skepticism to action.

A New Brand Identity and Design System

We reimagined the identity to match the heart behind the mission. The new system balances empathy with authority: a refined logo brings modern credibility, a warm editorial color palette signals safety and care, and typography shifts deliberately between declarative and delicate. Custom photography and creative direction focus on real people — never stock, never staged.

The result is a visual language that never shouts and never wavers.

Engineering a Platform with Purpose

Our development team built the site from the ground up, translating a complex mission into a clear, high-performing platform. We led the process from discovery through deployment, aligning technology, design, and storytelling into one cohesive system.

Always Prototyping the Brand

Built with a modular, component-based architecture using Astro and Storyblok, the system empowers the Perfected team to craft pages around the stories that matter most.

Deployed through GitHub and AWS, the site meets WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards and achieves near-perfect Lighthouse scores for performance and SEO — aligning technology, design, and storytelling into one cohesive experience.

A Scaleable Framework for Real-Time Storytelling

Perfected’s work often unfolds in real time, responding to urgent moments and emerging causes. Their new platform moves at the same pace — powered by a flexible theming system that allows the team to spin up microsites instantly, each tailored to a specific story or event. It’s a framework built not just for scale, but for solidarity.

Our rebrand brought Perfected back to the heart of why we exist: the people. It sharpened our clarity, strengthened our purpose, and allows us to show up with more empathy, trust, and humanity than ever before.
